GAZİANTEP

Gaziantep is the sixth largest city in Turkey and the largest in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. Its location at the intersection of Mesopotamia and the Mediterranean has made it an important center throughout history. Hosting numerous civilizations from the Paleolithic Age to the Ottoman period, it has become a city where different cultures and religions have blended. Situated on the Silk Road, Gaziantep has always been a hub for trade and culture. With its rich historical texture, remnants of various civilizations, and metropolitan status, Gaziantep is a culturally and economically developed metropolis.
