The "Certificate of Appreciation Presentation Ceremony to Those Who Add Value to Geographical Indications" was held in our city, with the participation of Governor Kemal Çeber, Metropolitan Mayor Fatma Şahin, and Turkish Patent and Trademark Office President Prof. Dr. Muhammed Zeki Durak. The ceremony, organized by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office to raise awareness of Geographical Indications, was held in Gaziantep.

Governor Kemal Çeber, Chairman of the Gaziantep Development Foundation Board of Directors, stated that the Foundation prioritizes geographical indications with an integrative and comprehensive mission. He presented a Certificate of Appreciation to GAGEV Secretary General Mustafa Şen and his team.

In his speech at the ceremony, he highlighted the achievements of the Gaziantep Development Foundation, announcing the announcement of our 108th Geographical Indication.

As GAGEV, we are proud and happy to bring these values to our city with 107 registered Geographical Indications, adding value to the country, and raising awareness.

The principal aim of the foundation is to conduct promotional activities and to provide incentives for domestic and foreign institutions and organizations to increase their interest toward the region in order to accelerate the economic development of Gaziantep and its surroundings.
