TURKISH STARS DECORATE THE GAZIANTEP SKIES
Hosted by Gaziantep and supported by the Gaziantep Development Foundation and organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), TEKNOFEST was experienced enthusiastically this year with colorful events. The festival, which started with a procession, continued with the raising of the TEKNOFEST Flag. Starting from Gaziantep Castle, the Turkish Stars Pilots announced the start of TEKNOFEST by performing an acrobatic show over the entire city.
The aviation, space and technology festival TEKNOFEST, which will be held in Gaziantep for the first time outside of Istanbul by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), started with colorful images. The opening of the festival consisting of 21 different technology categories was attended by Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, T3 Foundation Board of Trustees President Selçuk Bayraktar, members of parliament, mayors and provincial protocol. The festival started with a procession with the participation of protocol students and stakeholders, accompanied by a band, starting from the Panorama Museum on December 25 and ending at the front gate of Gaziantep Castle, and then the TEKNOFEST flag was raised. The “Turkish Stars” pilots within the Turkish Air Force performed an unprecedented acrobatic show over the city starting from Gaziantep Castle, drawing a giant heart in the sky. Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül also stated in his speech that corporate companies and managers in the public and private sectors gave their full love and support to the festival, and said that TEKNOFEST is an event that is admired in the world. He emphasized that T3 Foundation is a source of trust for Turkey and a role model for the youth.
